Blueberry Sauce

We love adding toppings and spreads to our scones. One delicious addition to almost any scone is Blueberry Sauce. We love adding this to Blueberry Scones or Original Scones, but other fruit scones would be good as well! Here is how we make it.


2 cups frozen or fresh blueberries

2 Tablespoons cornstarch

1/4 cup Sugar

1/2 cup Orange Juice

Blueberry Sauce Simmering


1. In sauce pan add all ingredients and stir until combined

2. Heat to a boil

3. Lower heat to a simmer until the sauce is thick.

4. Spoon onto Scones, Muffins, Pancakes, French Toast or anything that sounds good. It's actually good enough to eat it by the spoonful.
