Ingredients

Unbleached Enriched Flours (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Sugar, Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (Sugar, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Soy Lecithin, Natural Vanilla Extract), Vegetable Oil [Canola Oil (Ascorbic Acid and Rosemary added to preserve freshness) and/or Sunflower Oil], Buttermilk, Palm Oil, Baking Powder [(Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Baking Soda, Cornstarch, Monocalcium Phosphate) leavening], Cocoa Powder (processed with Alkali), Salt, Natural Vanilla Flavor, Natural Flavor, Baking Soda (leavening). CONTAINS: Wheat, Milk, Soy. This product is prepared and packaged using equipment that may come in contact with Egg, Tree Nuts (Pecans, Coconut, Almonds), Sesame.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Lightly grease baking sheet pan, line with parchment paper, or use wedge-shaped scone pan.

In bowl, add water to mix and stir with fork until combined and sticky dough forms. If dough seems dry, add additional water 1 teaspoon at a time.

Drop heaping tablespoons of dough (10-12) about 3" apart onto prepared pan.

For triangle shaped scones, shape by hand into triangle or if using a wedge-shaped pan, drop even mounds of dough into each cavity and spread into triangle shape.

Bake 15-17 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden on top.

Amazing scones

You make awesome scone mixes. We have bought them for years from World Market and recently placed a big order with you. The taste is always amazing and we especially like that all we have to add is water. Don't change a thing. We have bought other mixes and then have to add heavy cream and other stuff. Just wanted to let you know our experience and to thank you for your great product.

Delicious add-in for this already yummy stuff!

These are yummy...
On a lark, I thought to add in about ⅓ to ½ a jar of quartered Luxardo cherries to the batter / dough.
Then prepare as directed...

Oh boy is that good stuff!!!

Can I give it 10 stars?

These have become my new favorite of all the scone mixes we've tried. Add a dollop of homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream and they are perfect. Don't ever stop selling this flavor.

Attention Chocoholics!

These are insanely good! Moist, tender, tons of flavor! Here's an idea. Make them a bit larger, 6-8 out of a batch, and serve them with a scoop of ice cream, drizzle with hot fudge, a dollop of whipped cream, and voila! Dessert!
